GLToolbox

GLToolbox is an OpenGL interface for Mathematica version 6 or greater.

GLToolbox uses Mathematica's J/Link interface with JOGL (Java/OpenGL).

GLToolbox has support to draw Mathematica generated graphics with a single function call as OpenGL primitives, in addition to having access the entire OpenGL API.

Documentation is available as a Mathematica notebook. You will need to download and install GLToolbox to access all documentation and examples. After installing GLToolbox, documentation and examples are available in the "Mathematica Documentation Center" under the "Installed Add-Ons" section.

GLToolbox is a Mathematica package available for Windows and Mac OS X.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Download GLToolbox.zip. Note the prerequisites, below.
  2. Uncompress GLToolbox.zip.
  3. Open the uncompressed folder GLToolbox.
  4. Open the Mathematica notebook called Install.
  5. Click the Install button in the notebook.
  6. After installing GLToolbox, documentation and examples are available in the "Mathematica Documentation Center" under the "Installed Add-Ons" section.

Prerequisites:

  • Mathematica version 6 or greater
  • Windows XP or Vista or Mac OS X
